Our organic growth strategy, high quality assets, low operating costs and low carbon emissions have made us one of the world’s leading sustainable oil and gas companies.
Today we are an experienced Nordic energy developer and operator and one of the largest operated acreage holders in Norway. But we’re not satisfied to leave it at that, so we continue to explore even better ways to produce and to develop energy. We are explorers by nature. When we find what we’re looking for – that makes us a little bit better. When we don’t find it – that makes us a little bit wiser.
World class assets
Our main assets Johan Sverdrup and Edvard Grieg have an excellent track record of outperformance in terms of production capacity, reserves additions and production efficiency.
Industry leading low costs
Lundin Energy’s operating cost guidance for 2020 is 2.80 USD/boe which is about one quarter of North Sea average. Long term operating cost guidance for 2021 onwards is between 3.2 and 4.2 USD/boe.
Low carbon emissions
Lundin Energy’s carbon intensity is among the lowest in the industry as a result of our main asset being powered from shore. For 2020 we expect a carbon intensity of less than 4 kg CO2/boe and from 2023 and onwards less than 2 kg CO2/boe, compared to the world average1 of 17 kg CO2/boe.
